I’ve been lurking & following your project for months in the Graphics Programming discord as I work on my own hobby Vulkan engine. It’s been inspiring seeing all the progress you’ve made. I especially admire your willingness to ask questions & share your work-in-progress so openly. Keep up the great work

Why not? There's already a hardware survey & they could easily have an opt-in system that reports the user's average framerate while playing games. If the average hardware specs can't run that game >=60fps >=90% of the time on any graphical setting then it's beyond fair to give it a "Hardware reports indicate that this game performs poorly" label.

Much like Cyberpunk on it's release, this will hopefully be de-listed from the various digital storefronts & all customers issued a refund in full.

Yeah I like them both a lot, having tried deploying small projects on each. However, I’ve defaulted to render at the moment because I’ve found it painless for my current project, and edge compute is low on my list of priorities.

Though to be fair, even if render collapsed overnight, I think I’d still be equally satisfied after moving to fly.

Completely agree with this opinion. Teens expected to attend college are under tremendous admissions pressure. You don’t even realize how much more difficult it gets every year for them. For some students, nearly every waking moment is spent on something to fill an application/study/practice. While this itself isn’t new, I’d wager that the number of students having this experience has grown tremendously.

However, as someone who was in high school right when Facebook/Instagram became ubiquitous amongst teens, I can’t emphasize enough how horrible the pressure of appealing to your peers was. There is a constant, deeply unsettling fear of being publicly shamed/embarrassed online at any time & for any reason. I am confident that this is still present & stronger than ever.

I’ve not taken a gap year or heard of anybody else that has either. My peers and I are all 1-2 jobs out of college, and we’re all terrified of having a gap in our resume. Apparently this concern is overblown, but we all seem to have learned it from our parents.
