I can assure you that tembo.io won't do this to you - all the heavy lifting is in background jobs, running Claude Code behind the scenes. Give it a try, would love feedback!

Love seeing adoption of Claude Code - tembo.io can be used to send work to Claude Code automatically from Linear, Sentry, Postgres, and static code analysis.

No humans blocking progress :)

* Find a startup in your local ecosystem, help them build their product (for free if you must).

* Use AI (Claude Code, Cursor). Get great at this.

* With a little experience (and talent) you can be a next-gen startup CTO/senior dev.

* I'm absolutely not kidding.

UX looks pretty similar to plausible - Posthog UX is more complex because it has a lot more features than Plausible.

Simpler UX isn't necessarily better, if features are removed.

That was one long-ass honeymoon, if you want to call it that :)

CEO of Tembo (the company behind dba.ai) here —

Would love to get feedback on the concept, and if you're super eager to try it out, email us at [email protected] and we can fast track you into the product.

Tembo CEO here - we are targeting feature parity for Tembo Cloud w/ RDS as soon as possible, would love to have you give Tembo a try sometime, give us feedback :)

Tembo Cloud is standard SaaS offering, and our new Tembo Self Hosted (https://tembo.io/docs/product/software/tembo-self-hosted/ove...) allows you to run the same software that powers our SaaS, but in your own K8s cluster.

free speech for the win

even if you hate these guys, they should be allowed to talk to each other and share that conversation (that you'll probably hate)

We're working on a gitops DX for Tembo Cloud, that will allow you to ensure everything you build on Tembo is in source control, and runnable locally w/ our CLI. More info coming soon...

We've integrated postgrest into Tembo Cloud already too, one click to deploy it as a sidecar.

Ugly pricing info here: https://tembo.io/docs/tembo-cloud/billing

We're working this sprint on getting up our "marketing" pricing page.

Tembo CEO here

I would have agreed w/ you 100% 18 months ago. And presently is is messy do to this in Postgres, but it's also messy to choose lots of tools that create sprawl and data islands.

We're spending a significant part of our R&D effort in 2024 towards making it cleaner/safer to do more in Postgres. We have a lot of work to do to build a great gitops developer experience. We're also prioritizing auto-scale, auto-suspend, and auto-tune projects to help reduce the cost of doing "lumpy" things in Postgres.

Would love to have you as a design partner @aurareturn — want to eventually win you over :) hit me up if you're interested in chatting ry [at] tembo [dot] io

nice to see it knock Snowflake out of the top 3 :)

nice to give standby servers some work to do, without putting their primary job at risk :)

cloudnativepg is great, we're using it as a foundational component to Tembo's OSS and Cloud services (tembo.io).

We're actively working towards adding ParadeDB to Tembo Cloud (cloud.tembo.io) - feel free to message us in app to get alpha access.

i expect supabase will do it too at some point.
