I think they're talking about https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hegseth-ousts-army-chief-of-sta...

> Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has asked Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and take immediate retirement, sources familiar with the decision told CBS News...

> Two other Army officers were removed from their roles, according to three sources familiar with the matter: Gen. David Hodne, who led the Army's Transformation and Training Command, and Maj. Gen. William Green, who headed the Army's Chaplain Corps...

> Hegseth has fired more than a dozen senior military officers, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. C.Q. Brown, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti, the Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. James Slife and the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse.

Very cool project!

I saw you were looking for help sourcing things like balloons and gas. https://groups.io/g/GPSL/ worried be a great place to go and ask for help with that, if you haven't already.

If you're interested in high altitude ballooning, there's an active community around it.

I checked the first five items while logged in with Amazon Prime. They all required a minimum order of either $25 or $100 to get free shipping.

The GPS satellites aren't receiving anything. The GPS satellites transmit signals, and the starlink terminals (and other users of GPS) receive those signals.

> Glad to hear it didn't go into detail on human anatomy.

Why do you think children shouldn't get answers to questions about human anatomy?

You're assuming the "legacy" system is being replaced by a new one, which isn't the scenario being described in the link or the book. They cover approaches for continuing to safely evolve the legacy (i.e. untested) system.

Three people sharing a personal account, with one of them frequently traveling internationally, is such an unusual usage pattern that I'd be really disappointed with a service provider if they _didn't_ flag it for extra verification.

This is generally harder to pull off though unless you do things like force all DB access to go through stored procedures.

And then you're really still pursuing the same strategy described above, except for your stored procedures instead of your app code.

I disagree. I find the budgeting to be equal (although I don't use it much in either) and personal capital to be better at tracking expenses. Both can categorize and analyze equally as well, but personal capital also has a nice cash flow view that mint lacks.

Try Personal Capital (https://www.personalcapital.com/). I used Mint for years but jumped ship about 6 months ago and am glad I did so.
