Ok, i found it. https://www.instagram.com/cork.save/

So immediate feedback. Why do i need to download an app ? This is HUGE friction.

Why can't i just DM your Intagram account all the posts/events that i care about, and it can pull directly from there and sent me a web link with a login code to view my organized events ?

Do you have links to your competitors ?

As the internet gets filled with AI slop, these kind of indexes of real human thought are going to become more important.

Just something to note.

Websocket connections don't enforce CORS. So that's another alternative - host all of you APIs via websockets.

Hey, this is great. And looks similiar to WaveTerm https://www.waveterm.dev/

I currently use WaveTerm and it's pretty good. (But a bit laggy sometimes, i think it's electron based)

But both your terminal and waveterm are missing an important UX feature.

When you keep appending vertical terminals to the right (in the same view). They all get squished, to fit in the current window width.

Instead, I would love a horizontal scroll at the bottom, so I can have infinite termnial appending without having them squeezed to be smaller and smaller.

This is great! As a non-designer, I've been relying on ChatGPT to select color schemes/palettes for me.

Spot on. This is the core problem.

The ammount of functionality is not the problem.

The problem is that the functionality is not a set of composable functions and classes. It's an inversion of control "framworky" blackbox, where behavior is hard to reason about.

I agree. I think the only successful alternative has to be a non-profit.

Decentralized solutions don't scale.

VC funding is primary reason that reddit reached the current situation. Another VC funded alternative will follow the same death spiral.

Link aggregators/social networks cannot generate VC expected returns without dying in the process.

This death cycle of social networks has repeated itself in silicon valley for decades.

At this point doing VC investment into social networks is like a game of hot potato. Who gets to exit first before the social network self destructs
