I'd use it for something. I wanted to use pyiodide but the learning curve and the browser fiddling did me in. If it was fast, could be embedded in nodejs and deno it would fill a void. Granted, a big part of pythons draw is the std library, which is also part of why I don't think pyiodide is ideal.
Yeah it's perfect for my project but I was wondering if anyone has firsthand experiences using it in production? I have heard that it costs everything.
I just asked my first question on your site and once I get a response I will try to figure out how to give feedback. I'd suggest a page devoted to the question "how can I trust the answer I get" that talks about who gets to answer your question, how they were vetted, etc.
Yeah this is what I am thinking reading this. This raw deal would look unattractive to any intelligent person if a UBI was in place to incubate people at the stage this project proposes to attract them.
I am glad I read the comments first, the 8 years clause is not at all obvious at first and that is a huge deal. Even if you are a starving genius in Africa with access to the internet, that hardly seems lucrative assuming you will go on from your first effort (with just $5k to run on you must really be a genius). Then this vulture fund takes and takes and takes. This reeks of exploitation.
Can you elaborate on this? I am a programmer by day, amateur scientist by night and I am interested i this exact process. Where can I read more about this? Do you have a corporate landing page for me to start at?
Yep, I haven't heard a lot of great things about Angular and my JQuery itself is a bit rusty so I figured I'd start fresh with something new. React seems more robust than Vue on close inspection, but maybe harder to learn. I hate CSS and HTML is often excessively tedious to me so a UI kits are looking attractive. Has anyone used Sketch plus https://ant.design/ ?
