I wonder if a new tech company was founded with a quality-first and customer-service mentality, could they succeed? Especially if there are NO investors trying to make a quick buck.
Certainly the company would provide good jobs, good benefits, salary and bonuses.
A great place to feel this is the USS Hornet in Alameda. This actual ship that you are on, made of steel and loaded with analog electronics, sailed to the far side of the Pacific and back. So much metal, steel, hydraulics, and electrical systems. It made it out and back. Not all the ships did. Mighty ships just like this one, with people like you, did not make it back.
As a consumer, I feel that consolidation is wonderful because it is one less account and password and charge on my credit card that I have to think about.
Our family loved Disney+ from the outset and then to see consolidation into the service was amazing. I can watch Aliens and Avengers in the same place? Now I’m just waiting for somebody to fold Paramount into either Netflix or Disney+ so I’ll have Star Trek as well.
