It could be a made up story, but there is a drive through coffee place in Michigan where this happens every so often. they even have a radio station sometimes coordinate it sometimes to see how long a chain they can get going.
I'm in a job a bit like that, not much room for advancement. Not much of a challenge, but the pay is about double what most other places in my town are paying because it's a small location of a much bigger company. my family is here and we have no intention of leaving so for now it's a very comfy dead end job with good benefits etc.
I thought it was interesting when Microsoft bought Skype. Skype built their whole backend on postgresql and were one of the major contributors to the clustering and hot failover features as well as putting up some nice management utilities. that's why o think the Skype purchase was so strategic. they not only got cross platform messaging with video and phone, they got the primary developers who were adding top end features to an open source project.
I don't know. for all the sensationalism it does seem like a pretty clear violation of the rules.
I want to know how he didn't qualify at his first science fair. Maybe he can build and follow directions but doesn't know the science part well enough. is there another story about how this kid entered a science fair with a nuclear reactor but didn't qualify for the international contest?

I started putting my resume out when the free soda ended too. funny thing was my old boss got angry when I mentioned that as one of the reasons I wasn't happy any longer. He said they didn't take it away they just stop providing it. for the life of me I cannot tell what the difference is.
