Not really. Just label it as "Vintage Honey", write "Experience the taste of honey taken from Egyptian tombs" and add in very tiny letters at the bottom "From 2016 harvest". As long as you don't claim it's actually taken from an Egyptian tomb, you can just spin it however you like. If you want to be somewhat more honest, make sure the bees only drink nectar from flowers that would have been grown during the time of the pharaohs.

Repeat after me: companies are not people. Everything is a cost-benefit analysis. Do we poison the river and give an entire town of couple of thousand people premature cancer or do we put the waste in barrels and bury them in a safe manner? If the fine is less than the cost of the barrels, they'll dump it in the river.

It isn't really a disorder, it's just a kind of personality. It's pretty much par for the course of simply being human. A good shrink should be able to get him to function with people who don't see things as the does, but there isn't anything wrong with him per se.

Relatedly, it's a bit sad what's happening to him. A few decades ago, he would have just been "that guy who makes the racy jokes" at an all-male shop, but over time our laissez-faire anything-goes culture has been taken over and thrust into a rather more corporate world, filled with people for whom our words that used to be simply racy are now akin to being stabbed through the heart. Such is the price of progress, I guess. I would suggest the companies mandating that people like him receive councelling, so they can function in today's diverse environments, but it feels really creepy for the company itself to be sending you to a mental health professional.

I guess e-bay and amazon are good in aggregate, i.e. there are only a few scammers, so if you sell thousands of units you don't really care, but the risk is just not worth it for the individual seller.

Hah, I have it easy by that measure. I don't have space in my home to fit a TV in to hook a PS4 (or XBone) to! I did upgrade my 4-year-old desktop, though. I should probably scratch the case some more and put a few stickers on it so it doesn't look out of place in my apartment.

QW had to send a lot less data. All the physical simulation ran on the server, so each client would send their inputs and the server would send back the world state. Current games' world state is a lot bigger than before with dynamic physical objects and skinned meshes with thousands of polygons, whose movement is dictated by a blend of physics, inverse kinematics and skeletal animation. Computer power has scaled farther than bandwidth and latency.
