Don't forget fake plants, empty boxes from PC parts, and weird anime figurines.

Thank you. I run 3x/week and lift weights 2x/week. Can't say its been helping, but maybe I need to work out even more. I'll definitely look into the B Complex. Out of curiosity, what does the chiropractor do during your session? I have my first appointment in a few weeks.

I wish I had a glorious comeback story about how I got fired and then got a job at Google making $500k/year and completely disrupted the tech industry with my insane coding ability and work ethic. In reality at first I was happy that my suffering at the previous job was over, but later on it crushed my confidence and caused me to be very depressed for a very long time. I took a massive pay cut because I was desperate for any dev job but couldn't clear any of the interviews with companies that paid a decent salary. I still dread getting fired (again) every single day at work, even if there's no indication that I'm doing a bad job. I'd like to believe one day I'll fix my mental problems and come back here to write that glorious comeback story.

A lot of people in this thread have no sense of humor and need to seriously lighten up.

I had an awful manager who discouraged team collaboration (work independently, don't ask questions or bother others). I seriously struggled because I was a new developer and had no onboarding. Just tossed into the deep end and unfortunately I drowned. Our 1 on 1 meetings were an interrogation about all the mistakes I've made over the past week and why I made them. The increased stress of not making mistakes made me make more mistakes... Finally the deadlines were constantly shifted. Boss would ask how long something would take, I'd give an estimate, we agreed on that date. When that date arrived he'd say, "I think it shouldn't have taken this long. The other guys on the team could have done this in half the time". This went on for a few months until one day I was fired on the spot. It was a blessing in disguise! I'm at a much better place now.
