Except for the fact that it's nothing like that it's exactly like that.
It's a ridiculous effort by the Indian government that is trying to bury it's awful mismanagement of the economy at a time when nearly every factor is in India's favor (never again will India find basically every Western and non-Western leader basically begging for its support economically and geopolitically, a result of the series of massive own goals by China) by stoking crass nationalism and pretending to be a big bully on the world stage.
But there's nothing racist in the name's origin itself.
It's pretty simple to avoid that. And no one really talks about Tweeting outside the context of Twitter, which made Twitter's job way easier than say Google's, where something like "I googled you on Bing" has become an acceptable and common turn of phrase.
Sure, but it's reasonable for most people to expect an extension they've downloaded from within the app itself might have similar licensing as the app itself.
Even if it isn't reasonable to do so, I suspect most people do indeed do so, and that's exactly what Oracle is counting on.
I suspect any marginal reduction of bullying because kids are too busy with their phones is more than counteracted by the much more pervasive and persistent bullying resulting from them being able to record everything happening in school.
