Haha..., storing data volatile, with not good retrieval success, slow speed in thousands of heads... I wonder if you could make a harder drive out of this approach... And how much you could store there. And does it benefit society?

Like automatic phone calls..., texts... :-D

Didn't find it in the documentation. How would I go about if I want to self-host it for a small team of like 14 people?

Should I buy licenses for 14 (3x extended) instances, or 1 for all, where everyone can see everyone's conversations or are there accounts? I have a central ollama instance running and also Openai API keys.

Thank you.

I have to say, I didn't realize it was no subscription before I saw this comment. Makes it much more interesting from the start.

Yes, I hate subscriptions. Love your approach.

I also love that you focus on your strength which is the intuitive and flexible interface, rather than LLM or prompts or whatever. Like this its also very extensible, as every good tool should be.

Of course, it can be done with emacs and org mode...

It's almost like every software or library will get ported to JavaScript eventually, with the difference, emacs and org mode was before.

I think these tools are the solution to the shortage of doctors, and will greatly improve performance by taking more parameters into account. Not sure though if a simple LLM can do that. (Shortage of doctors is a thing at least in DE and CH)

Doctors study like 10 years to follow a decision tree based on patient background and symptoms.

Especially in countries where education is harder to get by this can be useful, I imagine.

Then we transition from doctor to med-tech, like in the sci-fi movies.

I have to say I don't really get the website either. If the author is against scraper why not serve massive dummy content that it bloats their storage? Why all this linking? Maybe it's used to build (fake) page rank credibility and sometimes a link to one of the content farm pages is referenced on other pages, so these get boosted then?

Looks really cool and could be a good alternative to Typeform.

In our organization, due to privacy reasons we need to self host.

You might want to look at something like the plus plan photoprism has. For photoprism, if you want a UI for user admin, you pay something. One can do the same thing from cli, but in corporate environments it's easier for me to say, look, we need to pay, because we need this admin interface. If I would self host but want to support you otherwise, it's hard to argue why the organization should "donate" money.

Hope it makes sense. Best wishes!
