In the backpack community bellroy is often seen as “meh”. Eg. they frequently don’t live up to the guarantees they give and to the quality they promise. Also overpriced.

I avoid grass all together- especially in the woods.

The beauty of shipping a desktop app would be to not have to deal with that though… also those built in web views are usually older than average.

It should be noted that they use the term “medically necessary” which is a very low standard.

There is also “medically reasonable”.

For example getting your teeth cleaned professionally is not medically necessary. But it’s medically reasonable.

I don’t want a health insurance that only does “Medically necessary” things.

I don’t know but the us kidnaps ehhh arrests people on foreign land on a regular basis… and brings them to the US to stand trial. So if it’s “important” enough it will be aced upon…

Does this “Drop hack” work well with foreign keys, triggers and constraints?

They would start on a green field though… which makes it pretty efficient initially

I am using the latest version of their iOS app and only see my current version except for passwords.

It’s a system wide iOS feature and has been for a few years now

1Password gives you access to previous passwords you had for that reason.

Unfortunately not for other fields like email, notes etc…

IMHO the perfect password app could just keep all previous versions of any field until the user deletes the history.

I don’t understand the relevance of that link…

It was not only because of the name. I think a big part of the turn around was the non compliance by the passengers. They were asked to turn off all Bluetooth devices but did not.

I see what you are saying but then where do you draw the line? What if the wifi name is “fuck all pilots” - “united is doomed” or “we will all die”?

My iPhone automatically enabled reader mode - I disabled it to see what you are referring to and I agree…

Charge back usually never works… at least in my case the provider never actually did it because the seller was in good standing.

You increase prices by 20%

Yeah I agree with you here…

Haven’t we been burnt by being not cautious enough when COVID hit? Initially most scientists said “we don’t know if it’s airborne” or they said “there are no signs that it’s airborne” and the media turned it into “nothing flying fear” - and a few weeks later it was suddenly airborne.

“We don’t know” is a normal state in science and policies and personal behavior can take unknowns into consideration.

My main reason for not switching to mastodon:

Direct messages are a UX and privacy nightmare IMHO.

I think the law does not specify how the previously used prices are supposed to be displayed. In Germany grocery stores used to display it in the smallest possible font in a foot note.

They got sued, lost, and now they have to display it more transparently. Absent of EU specifics about how such prices have to be displayed, national courts can make their own rulings based on their national law.
