this is could be read as cynical (if one is inclined to think only a few priledged can and will be CEOS). however it could also be a positive, perhaps one of the most empowering aspects of this evolution in info tech.
If we collectively so choose... the entire point this AI/Large Models revolution in software moment can and should be… people with ideas/vision/a mission not having to pay the traditional tech toll of wall garden gatekeepers and/or bizarre industrial revolution desired software paradigms.
hopefully most people will realize it’s not that devs are being put out of a jobs it’s that EVERYONE CAN CONTRIBUTE in more direct EXPRESSIVE ways.
this should lead to more interesting work and problems and solutions for everyone.
It's neat that folks are trying to overhaul their approaches wholesale.
the fun is in actually starting from every initial condition and then evolving the simulation out for as many rounds as your computational resources allow....
then do some statistical analysis to categorize the various initial conditions and their distributions.
then inject perturbations in the simulation like "death taxes" and other redistribution policies.
I built up a lot of mathematica code for anyone to play with.
one of my favs was to start 1 person with all the money and see how long it takes for them to no longer be the richest person in the game.... you know like millions of ticks of the clock.
