1. Do you have some estimate about the time it takes to go from a TN Visa (Mexican Citizen) to obtain a green card?

2. If, for some reason (layoffs, company dissapears, etc.) the whole green card process is not finished, then it means that i will not be able to get a new TN visa correct?

Same scenario for me. I am on the USA. It looks like there is hiring freeze going on.

As if they are going to come out and say, yeah we fire her because of the tipping event.

Even if they don't admit to themselves, that probably was the reason of the firing, or some quarrel about it, we humans are petty.

You are smart, seems to be well off financially and still relatively young, so the future should not look that bad, probably you can get a younger girl too.

I am currently working on a TN2 visa (Mexican citizen), my company wants to sponsor me my H1B and then, if i got it, sponsor my GC. I heard that there is a route where you can go from TN2 visa directly to GC, but that the process is risky if not handled carefully. What is your view on this?

- Why is wealth inequality a problem? If average people is relatively wealthy (which i think is the case for USA), why does it matter that some people are very wealthy? This is different than some 3rd world countries where average people is poor and some very small percentage have wealth (and mostly due to corruption / crime / political influence)

- Rate of incarceration may also mean that USA does a good job of imparting justice / catch criminals.

- Healthcare costs looks like an issue, but socialized systems also have their problems (bad quality, wrong economic incentives for doctors to improve their practice, etc.)

I am from Mexico and am currently employed on a TN visa, if my company intends to start working remotely, is it valid to keep working under this visa if i won't be physically living on the USA (i would live in Mexico, but maybe travel to US some days per year to US) or should i switch to another schema (like working as a contractor)?

Also, what about working for some months on USA and other months on Mexico? Does the visa allow this scenario or are there chances the custom agent get more inquisitive about these frequent trips?
