Their response time is usually around a month IME, yes.

wdym? claude code is just a wrapper

you can get yourself an api key at console.anthropic.com and build whatever you want

(i use local models where possible but must admit opus45 is good)

Definitely not sqlite-on-s3! Just for the photos and videos, and the periodic db backups

Wow that's great! Interesting if it's possible to use not just a folder but like a s3-compatible backend for photos and for db backups as well

(I don't think all my photo/video archives would fit on my laptop, though the thumbnails definitely would, while minio or something replicated between my desktop plus a backup machine at Hetzner or something would definitely do the thing)

one-time codes are better than magic links imho.

think a minimal, clean work pc and email on the phone.

can also do both ofc.

of all things, this is the most beautifully formatted and organized LISP guide i've ever met.

this is all very cool, but what it does sorely miss is usage examples.

it must be obvious for its creators, but presents quite a wall of features for others to join in.

A lot of paper archives and libraries burned just recently in LA.

> git repos: too hard

I've found OneDev (selfhosted) to be an excellent alternative, unlike others which feel either half-baked or require a lot of configuration/maintenance

Can't say for everyone, but I have terrible memory and rely heavily on the chat history (and other tools) to keep my mental model in shape.

Here, ephemeral means "this conversation might as well never had happened", so why waste time on that?

what is surprisingly missing from their comparison is roaring bitmaps [0]

i'm sure they should've seen this paper because it's quite old

this is an important reminder that all digital electronics is really analog but with good correction circuitry.

and run-time cpu and memory error rates are always nonzero too, though orders of magnitude lower than chip yield rates

well, thanks for the nudge, moved my domains elsewhere.

  #!uv run

and that's it

Login works fine, operations after you log in - not so much. Edited "down" to "broken".

Thanks. I guess we need to summon dang now to remove the url?

[NOTE: Is it OK to submit URLs that require login?]

https://status.gandi.net shows all green, but:

- can't add or remove credit cards

- balance refill charges the card, sends no emails, account balance stays at $0

- at https://admin.gandi.net/billing/ you can't view invoices/orders etc with CORS error:

Access to script at 'https://assets-admin-gandi.global.ssl.fastly.net/billing/dis...' from origin 'https://admin.gandi.net' has been blocked by CORS policy: The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header contains multiple values 'https://admin.gandi.net,', but only one is allowed.

(edit: yes, I've double-checked and that's the actual Gandi website)

Dreamwidth has this feature, agree it's awesome.

Obviously you don't see private journals someone is reading, still a good way to discover new things.

Google gets money from showing you ads, not because you pay them for quality search results.

When you have to come over and over, and visit more pages to finally find what you needed, they get much more cash from advertisers than when you get everything instantly.

Accidents always happen on vacations %)

Thanks for the ack!
