> Only the US society seems to be unable to find a solution.

Unwilling. It's absolutely feasible to find a solution, as seen everywhere else in the world.

I can see it now.. The Distractatrons: a new chapter of protagonists in Transformers! The modern equivalent of evil in this day and age of ADHD and low attention span!

I've not been here long enough to judge but for the last 2 years, interesting articles in the front page (page 1 to 5) are always found.

A lot of topics have changed to the topic-du-jour: AI, yet I find good discussions on other topics when browsing frontpage, and then switch to new to find interesting submissions to read without user commentary.

Interesting to see 1 os install per country of millions of people (EG: last entry, 161 installs: 160 in Argentina, 1 in the UK)

> The phone is now a boring device made for scrolling and running apps that are mandatory to participate in modern society.

..a boring ¡spyware! device that tracks and listens to you!

Also you forgot to mention that you're sharing your personal and device details to our 1,893 e21 partners!

Really though, I'm just waiting for that AI agent that will help me shop online on my phone.. That's my vision of a perfect future!! /s

(how is this boring?:))

One of the speculations as to how life was created on this planet: stable environments hosting hydrothermal vents over long periods of time.

Could perpetual stews over decades act in the same manner?

When publishing, it's always important to get a fresh viewpoint from an unrelated account/device to ensure nothing looks amiss!

Larger tech companies are in the process of changing recruitment to only hire positions for core AI roles.. Good luck out there.

From the reply you're replying to:

> 27. Microsoft records also indicate: <...> a little more than three hours after the ngrok account was created, the user visited “[Company F].com” from the .168 proxy server.

Many people go through this thought experiment throughout their lives.. The vastness of big tech is limitless.

Burner sim cards and dumb phones can solve alot of issues. VPNs and disposable VMs as well. Surf the net safely comrade.

Ars + buzzwords + health topic = Mrs. Mole. If it's not covid, it's buzzy.

I stopped browsing ars cause of these types of articles a few years back, the exposure to them wasn't healthy. And sadly they always appear on HN.. yet with less commentary at least... thanks for that. <3

De-anythinging from the average Joe uses gives you a more unique online fingerprint.

Do you own an ISP and an AS? Hardware to connect with? They'll get you if they want.

> i tried explaining to my relative that the result he got from google was an A.I. generated text

Maybe I tried explaining the wrong thing EG: showing real information that you found* from a website proving the location is not prone to flooding, rather than gaslighting them on their efforts and AI usage.
