What stands out most to me is the amount of resources put into the arrangement of a few keys. I appreciate it, and it benefits me and billions of others, but was it worth it to DEC?

Also, have Google or Apple put this much work into mobile keyboard interfaces? Mobile on-screen keyboards seem inefficient or at least not optimized, using QWERTY layouts designed for 10-finger typing. (I expect QWERTY is used because it's the legacy that users are familiar with.) I'd guess there are small third party projects that try to improve on it; I'm pretty sure I've seen some. But what matters is what Google and Apple do.

My favorite addition is page up and page down above the left and right arrows, in the corners of the T
