That's the kind of awful name that surely cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in consultant fees.
Yes. Reminiscent of "benadryl", but does not remind one of a Harry Potter spell as drug trade names like "chantix", "lipitor" or "cialis" do. Extremely mediocre.
Ask your doctor if Kyndryl is right for you.
The company said “kyn” alludes to the word kinship, while “dryl” comes from “tendril,” alluding to new growth. Together, the name brings “to mind new growth and the idea that–together with customers and partners–the business is always working toward advancing human progress,” Schroeter said.

This is hilarious, Kinedryl is a brand of medicine for motion sickness (Kinetosis) in Eastern Europe.
Naming new businesses is hard but come on- this type of horrible name should actually create a stock sell off.
To my eyes and ears, the name makes me think of cough medicine. So it's not a name I would choose for an infrastructure services brand either.
Near miss. https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinedryl is an antiemetic (preventing motion sickness) based on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moxastine
That's even better. It was Benadryl that I was thinking of.
And this is why IBM is the most shorted blue chip on the index...
