Urinals are weird, I can see how they could potentially justify their existence in areas such as stadiums, rest stops, night clubs and concert venues where it is expected that many people will be using the toilets simultaneously but even then are they actually necessary? The other 50% of the population are doing just fine without them. They always strike me as a relic of a bygone age. I actively avoid them if I’m wearing light coloured trousers because it always seems like you’re rolling the dice on the splash-back issue.
They do use a lot less water
you just have to get the pee into the urinal first...
As an ex-janitor, I heartily approve of this vital innovation.
The preferred ultra-narrow design will result in pee easily getting all over the wall. A few degrees of error or a left leaning renob make this design ergonomically questionable.
