I wince when I see polar bears crunching across the snow, filmed at a distance where audio could not have been recorded. And birdsong over an obvious drone shot where the sound of the drone would have been all you could hear.

You get it even in the best of nature programs.

Definitely watch a video to see the magic in action. You don't realize how strange the sources of our favourite movie sounds are until you see some of them.
