Ask HN: Dang, any chance we could get bookmarks for Hacker News?
Like a little icon next to a post so that I can save good discussions / posts (or even individual comments) in my own bookmark repository.

yes we have em they are favorites.
at top of post youll see |hide|past|favorite|comments
click favorite and you mark the posting. you can view your favorite list in your profile.

I must be having problems with my vision today...! Now I see it! Thanks for flagging.
Note that "favorites" are public - I can view your favorited links and comments and you can view mine. (You like arthropod illustrations huh?) But your list of upvotes is private, so you can treat that like a private list of favorites.

Hmm. I don't see that on mine... Maybe only if you have certain karma?
We have it - upvote a submission, and then it is available in the 'upvoted submissions' link in your profile.
