I think there is a new type of scam going on with GitHub links

Just received an email about an "opening position" at Github from the blockchain repo like this :

" Hello,

We have an exciting opportunity for you! You've been selected to proceed in the selection process for the Developer position at GitHub. Congratulations on your achievement!

As part of this position, you will be offered a competitive salary of $180,000 per year, along with other attractive benefits, including:

I recently started getting GitHub notifications from a 2015 issue on some random PHP Bitcoin PoS repo, and it says "because you were mentioned" but I can't see myself being mentioned. I wonder if some since-deleted spam comment mentioned me and that's why I've been auto-subscribed to the thing.

Frankly it would suck if spammers hijacked this mechanism of GitHub to notify you of comments on threads mentioning you...
