BatFi 2.0.0 is the most significant release to date and perhaps the most substantial one we will ever see. It fundamentally alters the app's core functionality, enhances the user interface, and introduces support for app shortcuts, global hotkeys, and more.

- The minimum charging limit is now lowered to 50% - Enhanced menu customizability - Adjustable "Low Battery" notification threshold - New hotkeys pane in settings - Enhanced reliability of the helper tool - Added elapsed time display in the menu - Added option to show time left when available - Sleep charging limits options are moved to the charging pane - Added the ability to inhibit charging and discharge the battery on demand with a command from the menu (or with a hotkey) - Added support for app intents (Siri Shortcuts) – with them, you can override the charging limit to any value, etc. - App will send crash reports (to Sentry) by default (it can be disabled in the app's settings) - Updated app icon - Refined the status bar icon - Added tip jar pane - Improved energy efficiency - Portuguese (Brazilian) and Dutch localization added - Accurate battery temperature display - The battery temperature limit has been increased to 40°C

Cannot tell much about the app itself as I just learned about it and has to see how it performs. However I wanted to comment on the buying process. You can pay any amount which you think is fair and get a download link. Later on you can donate more if you like. This is, for the Apple eco-system, really refreshring, and I very much miss this for iPhone Apps. I do not know how often I have installed and directly after de-installed apps because I cannot use them until I payed x bucks, which is completely rediculous because I do not know if the app will do or work in my setup / use-case.
