I'm going to ramble based on our guns argument:
I don't know that "guns" have ever been useful in the US vs a state. Historically there ws the revolution, but the state used them, not randos in the end. Civil War, that was state vs state.
Guns just allow someone to kill or hurt someone, there's no magic to them that makes the defend your rights anymore than someone take someone else's. In fact the latter seems far more popular.

Am I mistaking? And is AI not undermining more and more the second amendment making guns weapons of the past? How can we avoid this?
