I quit drinking in 2020. Once the decision was made with seriousness it was easy. Sure the thought occurs now and then. Sure it might be nice to have a drink with a friend, but really I can drink other things. The benefits to my health far outweigh the costs.
Having a personal zero-tolerance policy for certain things is one of the best hacks ever.
