This is so creepy and weird to a non-indian, is this really what it is like?
Is a dating site profile creepy and weird to you? It’s the same thing basically.
For dating? It would not have more than half of the things on one of these resumes and yes it would be extremely creepy if I was asked many of the items on this

Central to the culture is the idea that a marriage is between two families not two individuals. Some people care more, some less.
Any Indian here would know if they are about to get married, they need biodata. Imagine a job resume, but for Marriage.
