It's probably impossible but bring back the judicial filibuster. If a judge knows that get confirmed in the Senate they'll have to have bipartisan support then you'll end up with a group of judges desperate to appeal to everyone and alienate no one.
That requires both parties operating in good faith. When someone as milquetoast as Garland can't even get a vote under GOP control, but they'll push through a justice as unqualified as Barrett or as mired in controversy Kavanaugh, expecting enough bipartisanship for that to be workable is just unrealistic.
Fucking hell, finally, some serious suggestions with teeth. Save our republic: Reform the judiciary, end gerrymandering, and take money out of politics.
Request: name names. Having this at the start is way better than letting it get watered down in conference down the road.

The federal judiciary is not nearly as “captured” as local judges and state justices, in my opinion. I would rather focus on impeaching every judge who releases offenders for low or no bail, or with small/no jail time, especially repeat offenders. The dangerous actions of those judges have a much larger effect on my life. I’d like to see judges face consequences for any repeat offender they previously released with less than the maximum sentence.
There isn't a good route to send such repeat-low-level offenders, which is part of why they get caught-and-released.
There should be, it just seems a little short-sighted to blame the judge versus the entire correctional and judicial system that forces them to make a least-bad choice.

Death? ( caveat: it really has to be used VERY cautiously, anything can be abused)
