I already did- I ask it to inform purchasing decisions and use it as a google to determine etf/bond allocations

Do I need a custom app for this? No, claude in a csv + me looking over it works fine. Im not an avg consumer which I would argue isnt doing dcf models on their retirement plan

Very interesting, I now see the reasoning of the VC hypothesis that the current hardware wasnt suited for AI, and therefore you got the all the wearables startups

I should make this clear-forcing your kids into kumon so they can skip a grade is really shitty

I know its happens, but optimizing for education goals in American is usuabbly a faux pax

Being frank I think its not enough to have a good looking app and have some llm calls

Think about your competition for your market. When I want my child to really excel in learning, I would force them into kumon - so they can skip a grade. If your a student who wants to learn you have khan academy.

And im just not seeing anything that screams-this is better than khan academy and kumon

All i see is an education app with good design

Sorry if it sounds harsh

P.s. if youre on the mission of educating people from developing countries-different story and different problems. Ignore what i put here then

Have you read the Sal Khan thoughts on AI and education?

About 1-2 years ago he had similar thoughts to solve that exact problem you mentioned.

What is being taught to 5 year olds? And why would an AI tutor be better than an pre-k learning app

Most students are pretty homogeneous in learning at that stage

Being real, I have no idea. I can only say in my industry(entertainment) which i believe 80% of content consumed is by AI(think like ultra niche specialized content but for the majority of people). 20% will be by humans commanding a premium

Whats the use cases where cheaper and faster img models are key differentiators?

I mean 3 cents compared to 6 cents doesnt seem like much in my mind-unless youre running a consumer saas

Youre right, i forgot to add

4) europeans are environemtally conscious

Americans however like their gas guzzling F150s.

The reason I did the original comment was I know for a time the major car companies did a huge push into EVs.

Like the ford 150 lightning, chevy bolt and mustang mach E. But they stopped manufacturing them due to weakened sales and profitability.

Its a vicious feedback loop of consumer adoption, high car prices, and capital investment which makes us feel stuck

*edit this is based on what I heard from a GM exec during a lecture visit while at UofM

>Americans watch the rest of the world getting better, cheaper, ...

If we wanted cheap cars, there needs to be demand to justify building giga factories of EVs.

There just wasnt sufficient consumer demand to justify the giga factory investments

China CAN generate demand for EVs because they have the political ability to

1) force gas restricted cars to only drive on certain days of the week

2) create a brutal lottery to get a license plate to legally drive a gas car

3) provide a bunch of subsidies

The US has only done option 3.

Out govt system literally doesnt have the political will to do these brutal but effective policy changes
