You paste in a company URL, and it generates a short podcast episode where “Leonard” (Lenny Rachitsky’s evil twin) roasts the company while a co-host (my persona) argues back.
The twist is that the arguments are grounded in 5 years of Lenny’s newsletter/podcast content instead of generic AI filler. (It's for the Lenny's data contest so it's sanctioned by Lenny)
Pipeline is basically:
- scrape the site
- infer the main strategic tradeoffs
- retrieve relevant Lenny content for both the attack and defense
- generate a transcript
- turn it into audio
It was super fun to build this -- my favorite part is the intro music on the loading screen. The most technically challenging part was getting the RAG to work correctly. It was my first time with RAG -- Claude Code helped a lot.
