Uhhh.. for a page thats about GUIs, this seems awfully sparse for the actual look and feel of said GUIs.

How about some screenshots?

Its very difficult to compare X to Y anywhere on this site. Its just an aggregator, not really an exemplary resource.

What's the reason you asked this question? I mean, yeah, you could have stayed silent, and nowadays everyone assumes that pointing out obvious things in a condescending tone is kind of insightful, just because you used enough ellipses.

Back then we all knew: vague rhetorical questions aren't arguments.

Technically, it's not a big surprise at all that someone would restate "you are the product" like it's a revelation. There is nothing novel at all.

And non-technically, yeah, as you said... You tried to weather a paragraph of empty meaning. You know that this comment says absolutely nothing actionable. You've known since word one. Nobody can actually be stupid enough to not instantly see that. It's impossible to not understand it.

Your strategy so far was to just scold. Who of you has expected a productive outcome, given this "mediocre" contribution, to say it veeeeeery friendly?

I cannot find anywhere in the documentation that shows exactly where or how this "cloud sandbox" is deployed or maintained.

Is this Docker, Kubernetes, KVM/Xen, AWS, Azure, GCP, Fly.io, some other VM tech, or some rando's basement ?

Very little detail and I don't trust this at all.

Incorrect, only some UUIDs are random, specifically v4 and v7 (v7 uses time as well).

This would technically be version 2, which would be built from the date-time and MAC address, and DCE security version.

But overall, if you allow any yahoo to pick a UUID, its not really a UUID, its just some random string that looks like one.

The video shows closer to 2 seconds for it to finally throw itself over in what could only be described as a "Thunk". I figured it would be a little more smooth.

I 100% agree with this take: adding Bandcamp to this "media" app is a really shitty thing to do.

I personally know a few musicians who use Bandcamp to either exclusively make a living (along with touring), or to supplement their income. Some are overjoyed when they get a few sales a week on a release. This POS software denies that opportunity.

Either way, 99% of the artists are small independent musicians, and this just skips the Purchase album or track and just freeloads off the small MP3 player on each album page.

Its disgusting.

I work a single day at a laundromat/bar combination to supplement my income and actually be on my feet for a day. Most people are amazed it isn't more popular when they discover it. Having a cold draft while waiting for your wash or folding your clothes can be quite nice. We even have regulars who just drink.

We are near a university, so I think this works out better than say a rural or low-income area. We have a large homeless population around here who use the establishment, and can be a bit bothersome in some of their behavior when visiting (such as whore bath in the bathroom).

We have free WiFi as well.
