Comaps and organic maps are very similar (they forked very recently). The only difference I can think of from the top of my mind is that organic maps is not fully open source (map files and generator are proprietary) and has some kayak sponsored suggestions/reviews

They might have further trained the model with these edgecases in the dataset

I wonder how using wikidata as a source would work. I haven't checked but I assume these characters would be realtively comprehensively covered.

It is not just a default when it is the only option.

The word default is more appropriately used when the decision can be changed to something the user finds more suitable for their usecase

The Honda thing sounds more like a technical limitation for the feature to work than a way to get permission for malicious reasons.

What ? How did you come to this conclusion with this context ?

Api cost need not correlate with running cost.

> ChatGPT cannot do math. It can only string together words and numbers in a way that can convince an outsider that it can do math

What am I as a human doing when I "Do math" ?

1.I am looking at the problem at hand, identifying what I have and what I need to get

2.I am then doing a prediction using my pretrained neural net to find possible courses of action to go in a direction that "feels" right

3.I am using my pretrained neural net to find pairs of values that I can substitute with each other (Think multiplication tables, standard results, etc...)

4.Repeat till I arrive at the answer or give up.

As a simple example, when I try to find 600×74+42 I remember the steps for multiplication. I recall the associated pairs of numbers from my tables and complete the multiplication step by step. I then recall the associated pairs of numbers for addition of single digits and add from left to right.

We need to remember that just because we are fast at doing this and are able to do it subconsciously it doesn't mean that we can natively do math, we just do association of information using the neural networks we have trained.

What are you trying to point out here ? Is there any question you can ask today that is not dependent on some existing knowledge that an AI would have seen ?

It works when I rotate the phone

But OP just said summary not management of emails

Finished the game. It was fun to play. I got stuck for a while on the opposite level where the display doesn't update, but was able to go through the rest just fine

Wouldn't there be a point where the mainstream approach is to just have compiled blobs write directly to the canvas, say a point where someone compiles a qt application and hosts it on their website.

What can you even modify there, when all the structure is flattened into a single layer

Say goodbye to writing multiple kinds of plugins and userscripts for random websites I guess. I don't want the transition to wasm because it looks like it will make most things unchangeable binary blobs

It is not for the end user, it is more for things like wrappers and automation scripts.

Nobody expects the end user to prompt the AI using a structured language like xml

I read some article some years ago about increasing input latency to an annoying level through software (probably wouldn't work for passive media consumption like in the case of YouTube though, maybe you could also progressively dim the screen and add noise)

Humans have a mechanism to make live changes to their neural network and clean up messes while sleeping. I see no reason for llms to not be able to do this other than the fact that it is resource intensive (which will continue to go down)

The community forked and created comaps because the organic maps maintainers were unwilling to listen to the community, taking decisions that the community disapproved of.

Comaps seems to be more active than organic maps today

>How do I even know this is a real Google product? Okay I’ll trust the domain

it is not even the expected opal.google.com it is opal.google, you need to be 100% sure beforehand that google has the sole rights to the .google tld (which an average person wouldn't know)

The behavior also seems sketchy with it asking for permission but then rejecting any usage if all of the permissions are not approved (why even ask then, you are google)

after re-finding the link through a confirmed subdomain.google.com site I tried to sign in and got this error

``` An unexpected signin error occured.Error checking geo access ```
so I gave up
