What percentage of wetland is it?

(I missed the wetlands text. Disregard)

Doesn't it lose a lot of money and its usefulness is directly correlated with its current massive usage.

I don't know about you, but with tech salaries, rent is the least for my concern. I think that's true for most people that don't live in ridiculously high cost of living areas.

I mean the reason we write code in business is to make money and continue to provide features/fixes at an efficient rate to continue to make money. If you can do it right the first time within the confines of the time allotted, go for it. But if it comes at the cost of making money/spending time, we aren't doing it for an esoteric reason.

How would you even enforce this? You'd require a minimum of 10 companies at all times and mandate user distribution? That wouldn't work

I had no idea Dead Cells was made in this. That game is incredibly sharp. Need to play around with this as it seems relatively simple.

> The NSC was created in accordance with a law passed by parliament in July 1992 which authorised the establishment of an agency to replace the KGB, the old national security apparatus of the Soviet Union.

This would be the KGB offshoot. Belarus also has a KGB as do other post Soviet countries, I believe.

Man this is the most non constructive response I've heard. I'm looking for a resource of data showing hospital utilization and you come say me with this nonsense.

That's not how drafting for a war works at all. There's extensive training for all the positions, unless you're considering the mythical notion of how Russia sent bodies to war with no weapons

Alternatively, it would be like kicking out the person trashing the place or screaming obscenities and making everyone uncomfortable, which is generally accepted in the real world.

This is so true. Anecdotally, my dad worked in FABs on chips and stuff in the 90s during the dot com boom before they stripped all those jobs away to outsourcing and it basically destroyed him as an older man. Funny how we're desperately trying to get the silicon manufacturing back after we sold out.

To the untrained eye, it definitely is a huge cost center. Devs and smart people get premium dollar for their work, as they should, but for the bean counters, execs and bad managers, it's extremely difficult to simply quantify the work in such a way to see it as a value add. Especially in an executive excel sheet/powerpoint

This is the latest example and they have had previous lawsuits before about intentionally throttling devices which leads to people buying the latest devices.

Their earnings reports depend on volume of iPhone sales, so the incentive exists to push for more.

> I've never seen them as a revenue growth chasing business

Apple is always chasing revenue growth. They're notorious for it. Most businesses are..

Yes I think what you're saying is accurate. My apprehension is the lack of concrete data we have for comparison at the time to whole heartedly put my life in the hands of engineers, for this particular thing. I do, however, look forward to a well vetted, tested and regulated, automated driving future.
