OK... but the nice thing about computers and networks is that you don't _necessarily_ have to transfer 1TB globs of data to from SF to London to use it or compute upon it. There are computers in SF too. And of course, if you're talking about media files you can't watch more than one at a time and anyway you don't need "random access" to the media file (you can stream them).
