Well, China's attempt to conquer Taiwan would be disastrous to global trade and TSMC, and because all Nvidia GPUs are produced there, it will also hit AI development. So, it looks more like a Butlerian jihad, if we stretch the metaphor.

Everyone needs chips, but only a few companies can produce them. I tried to understand how Taiwan was able to upgrade its economy and create TSMC.
