the EU is. but their verification age process shows the design flaw that preserving privacy means the system can be easily circumvented with a mitm allowing to circumvent the age verification process.

This documentary is how the meeting of a Palestinian filming as much he can on site in Gaza with an independant French journalist unable to go in Gaza to show the world what's happening managed to hack the israeli lockdown together.

For those who are not familiar with him, Charles Villa is an independant french field reporter and war journalist who covered many conflicts, consequences of war and managed to get interview with elusive people such as mexican sicario, members of the mexican gang of sinaloa documenting how they make cocaine pass the US border, drug cartel members documenting how they make heroin in forest kitchen, children working in rare earth mine, children soldiers in Congo, drones pilots and makers in Ukraine, neonazis group in Ukraine, European undergound fight clubs, produced a documentary on fixers (people who make field journalists able to work), investigated daech and islamic state, and much more.

This time it's a full length documentary on inside Gaza over 2 years with a focus on children, the biggest project of his career according to him. despite his field experience and what he has seen during his presence in conflict zones, he says he has never seen such a scale as what is happening in Gaza and has been working with Suhail Nassar, a Palestinian who filmed everything he could, to provide this documentary for free to the world thanks to crowdfunding.

one has to understand that the point is not to protect kids, it never is, but to control online activities. also this is not an organic law, this is the result of intense lobbying by transnational corporations such as facebook, pushing hard for this and there are reports from inside the parliament that this is rushed to be release ASAP despite not being ready or properly tested.

it's probably flagged because it rubs some people in the wrong direction.

it's been 3 years since I completely gave up on kdenlive.

I put time and effort to get around the dated and unintuitive UI/UX, but it is too convoluted to do even some basic stuff. and the repeated crashes are too much of a pain to be ready for everyday use.

I tried alternatives such as openshot and shotcut, but they too have a lot of room for improvement. it seems there always a flaw of some kind and a lack of usability for this kind of software.

not taking anything for the time, efforts ad good will the devs put into these software, and many thanks to them for everything. but commercial software benefits from the years of having team of full time employees giving them a serious edge on opensource software for video editing.

you may have missed that all those have been happening for months and are tightly tied to the trump administration ?

same administration who has a son sitting on the board and a father president who has lifted all sanctions and investigations.

we even have video of representatives placing their bets or buying stock during session, right before voting on the matter.

when exactly did that happen ?

cause up until now I have observed the exact opposite which is coherent with expectations: https://coding2learn.org/blog/2013/07/29/kids-cant-use-compu...

I clicked and instantly gave up on Zellij due to the horrible design fails on the first page supposed to introduce the software to the user.

upfront breaking the basic expectation of having a clickable link is enough for me to know that this piece of software is badly designed and is not worth my time.

it is good that hacker news is the place where I saw the most people using their brains and noticing that there is no proof of removal in this claim as there is no before image showing they were there in the first place.

but it is concerning that there is still a lot of people who totally miss this obvious flaw in the claim.

it takes a couple minutes to test the claim and notice that the issue in affecting all Lebanon and not only the Southern region where israel is invading and leveling entire villages to the ground as they did in Gaza.

zooming in around the Lebanon border you notice instantly that a lot of information is missing as the background become white: https://i.imgur.com/L2p1j15.png

and following this clue, you soon notice that the same issue of missing labels is also happening in Syria: https://i.imgur.com/8p1ANAZ.png

there is no evidence supporting the claim and evidence actually tends to disprove it.

and you can easily verify that this issue is not only in South Lebanon as it is also the case in Syria: https://imgur.com/8p1ANAZ and everywhere in Lebanon

so the verification process you suggest actually disproves the claim.

> If you look at the Apple Maps satellite layer, you see thousands of structures spread across the area.

and if stop fixating on South Lebanon and go to other places where israel is not invading and destroying villages, let's say Syria, you'll notice the exact same issue: https://imgur.com/8p1ANAZ

so your argument actually go against what you attempt to demonstrate.

now why is apple bad at maps in this area and possibly other areas elsewhere in the world is a different matter.

more like some bugs are shallow and others are pieced together false-positives from an automated tool reliable in its unreliability.

you seem to have all the data but failing to sort them out to see the direct causal link between the point of origin and the current situation.

also I would argue that we should not confuse Iran and the islamists ruling the country. as a reminder the Iranian people suffered thousands if not tens of thousands death recently during violent repression of social unrest. so it seems the Iranian people may disagree with the choices of the people in power. at least until the US joined the israel led war crimes against Iran.

you may have missed that there are places where shortages have already happened and rationing is already underway.

FWIW israel did the same to iran also via proxy, for decades too.

and the starting point of all this is the US coup in Iran that eventually lead to the islamists seizing power in Iran.
