The "trick" I've seen is just doing it with enough space to be safe and with property owner permission. The cops are likely caring about safety not the letter of culturally unenforceable law on July 4th. Problem is this don't work in the suburbs and cities, it's just to dense.

In my experience (Pinephone) Plasma mobile was slower then Phosh by a very noticeable amount. And I remember a poll on Pine64 forum on mobile DE was like 50% Phosh...

Better open hardware would help a ton. Phosh itself was made for the Librem 5. The mobile specific Linuix apps are getting made in response to hardware, not to make a market for it!

Sodium is the current fps increase mod at the moment.

Fully second doing some learning. A lot of the critical 'meta' is fairly basic. Factory first, don't stall energy, reclaim wins games, commander strong early.

Also if you see me(same username) online and are starting out, feel free to reach out over the FAF chat system, for some simple coaching. Game gets a lot easier after some of the meta is learned. I can't garentee I'll even respond, but I would hate for someone to bounce off due to the learning curve.

Compilers will convert mul/div to shifts, if they notice one of the operands is a power of 2. I would have included a link to an example on compiler explorer (https://godbolt.org/) but the source editor didn't work on my Pinephone for some reason..

I've seen it used to deliver 'apps' that 90% of a business's employees use. (EX: Met/Team) in the Metrology (calibration) space.

I don't remember being able to pick which card OpenGL uses, while with Vulkan it's a required question the App has to answer...

I was able to install there controller software on pretty much any PC (windows or linuix) and adopt and configure APs. No phone required. Not sure about other networking gear.

I inquired about getting a static IP(s) for a small business, and only v4 is available.... and that was this year!

When I switched my desktop from Windows 10 -> Debian, I noticed the fans ran less (until video games). And I pretty much ran the same apps. 1/2 of the complaining is a lack of being able to choose/clean up that is running!

Adding to this.

x86 Most random Linuix ISOs will boot on anything. I've seen software compiled before the hardware had finished being designed boot just fine. (in the latest case lstopo was very confused, but everything still worked!)

ARM, I go looking for a build for my chip/device in particular.

x86 I just buy hardware and it works, ARM I check for OS builds before buying, and wonder if the builds will continue to get updates.....

cubesat + small rocket. Orbital mechanics require a burn at a later time in the orbit, to avoid coming back to say hello again to Mr. Trebuchet (Ignoring Earth's rotation)

You would have to do at least a circulization burn no matter the budget spent on maglev.

Most of the sandboxing you need for a game is less full sandbox and more a whitelist on file access and local network communication.

Assumption not required. US ITAR regulations mean you're federally "encouraged" to be tight lipped. Add in the fact SpaceX is ahead of pretty much everyone else...

This is correct or close too. The small steel on steel contact surface has so much less friction, that some conversion losses are fine in exchange for massive torque, and less moving parts (The diesel electrics replaced steam locomotives over maintenance cost/operation not pulling power).

Rockets are classified ITAR. There 1/2 of a ballistic missile.

2/3 of the big browsers are open source, you could just change it this year! (Assuming your mobile device isn't from the former personal computer company turned status symbol manufacturer).

Harder problem is getting the economic system that relies on this information swapped out. Have fun when 99% of web doesn't 'work'.
