I think, the 10% should be a pool for all projects with the license, otherwise if you have 5 open source projects, they could take 50% of your profit for example
Try non physical complements, eg. I really appreciated the conversation you started on x, I like that we can really go deep and get into the weeds on topics, or even it's cool that you really know who you are.
I think easily liquifiable assets in general would be a better measure. Bill Gates would be somewhere near the top, he could sell most of his diversified ~100b stock portfolio without causing much of a stir.
