Highly recommend anyone in Chicago check out his exhibit at the Art Institute.

I’d also be curious of any current day architects carrying on his style or at least ethos.

I can 100% confidently say the average US buyer is not an auto enthusiast. Cars are appliances to the vast majority of people here.

There are multiple other factors for the relatively low adoption of EVs compared to China.

Seconded. I am also curious to what your ADHD plan is.

What, if any, alternative framework other than single payer could be put into place instead of our current hellscape?

Have health sharing plans been successful? Those require a religious affiliation IIRC.

I exclude single payer solely because it’s impossible with our current leadership.

I’m surprised there isn’t a Costco like medical group that’s nationwide, has a membership, and works solely to provide care efficiently.

My grandma is 83 and I could’ve written this exact same post.

I know it comes for everyone, but the pace of said spiral is frightening.

Wish we were in a timeframe with more alternatives for rapid loss of mobility and muscle.

I dunno, laundromats seem to be doing a-ok in the Los Angeles region. Even in nicer neighborhoods you can find one pretty dang quickly.

I use one and I enjoy it oddly enough-- its quick but just enough time to get some reading done or people watching.

I thought this was going to be about actual garbage collection and municipal infrastructure.

That's what I get for being non-tech and browsing HN!
