I'm a patient at Duke's Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center and have heard a lot about this.
I have Stage 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma, had a very successful resection, radiation -- both at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell, and am now undergoing a long tail of Chemotherapy. It is nice to have the minds at Duke in my 'back pocket' looking into all of this.
It's unfortunate that Brain Cancer treatments do not get as easily funded as experiments for the much more common, even though what they want to do is essentially the same -- eventually cure all.
Not really sure what your point is here... are you questioning the initial acquisition of OMGPOP by Zynga or what Zynga decided to do with OMGPOP after the acquisition? The former has already been discussed at length and is a dead horse. Now is the time to discuss the latter.
I truly hope this is a "cut once, cut deep" action. There are still a ton of extremely smart people at the company, I just hope they stop overreaching.
at the moment you can migrate from our storage to your own s3 bucket. we have plans in the works to have a proper data export including all of the metadata associated with your photos and videos. picturelife going out of business is not something that I want to think about, but as a user, data exporting would be a main priority in the case that our service would cease to exist.
