Brooklyn has been doing it since about 2005 however the difference is that they do it more of an industrial scale to sell online qaned top other retailers. Commercial rent is too expensive in Brooklyn to do it on the retail side. I think the a special thing about what's going on in Germany is that the rent must be affordable even in high foot-traffic areas for them to do this.
You have to judge each scare by weighing the evidence yourself. The news business model relies on scaring the snuff out of us for clicks so we are left weigh the evidence ourselves. I think people do a better job at this then we realize. Like Ebola< low concern because its not transmitted by air only with open wound contact very few cases in the US. All people infected are quarantined> Super valcanos..we have a ten percent chance for it to blow up by the end of the century. For me not too worried. High strength cannabis had a much more of a intense psychotic on me then taking mushrooms/LSD because of the paranoia. I also don't see how a person with a weak heart can recreationally use high strength cannabis without suffering from a medical emergency.

I read Michael Crichton's "State of Fear" when I was young and impressionable. It made an elegant argument denying Climate change and it took me almost 10 years for myself to get back on the right side of the argument. The argument centered around a lack of sample size to make a judgment on climate change. He testified in front of Congress just as convincingly in 2005. Both the right and left both agreed that climate change was real and needed to be addressed quickly until the mid 2000's then the right did a 180 on the issue. The right still uses his argument against climate change to this day and his books are recommended to young people. Let's fix the damage he's done before celebrating him.
