Which is fine, its a much better situation than the current status quo, If all devs build around steam OS's 'platform' its not that big of a deal for any Linux enthusiast to run in their custom made setup, the main concern is the layman, the enthusiast love these types of problems.

I use better auth for a real app

There is a plugin provided by better auth for jwt https://www.better-auth.com/docs/plugins/jwt

We dont need it since everything is a single "server" and cookies are good enough. JWT would be added complexity ( e.g sign out ) that i find it better to not be set as a default.

I really hope there is like an "AI" flair on projects like these, i love what they aim to do but man the saturation levels mixed with "enough to make it work in theory" effort makes me want to filter out these posts.

I understand its all vibes and fun, but like at least some warnings that "this thing might lag your computer" and buttons that work.

You see it as a problem, i see it as a benefit, Main reason i dislike twitter/X is the amount of pointless grift that goes around, some for monetary reasons, Either behave like a human or leave, "I posted some dog whistle and got banned for it" is actually a great ad for Bluesky.
