You don't use an LLM to create images, that requires (today) transformer model.

I assume that "AI can write binary" means "AI can use a toolset that results in a binary" because we've already seen GPTs use a combination of LLM and specialized math tools to do the things the original GPTs did.

We could also slow down the motor vehicles to the speeds where drivers can react to pedestrians and cyclists.

And improve education all around for road users, including pedestrians, to widen the understanding of how individual decisions affect the community. For example, starting to cross the road at the end of the crosswalk signal leads to fewer cars able to turn right, which leads to more congestion, etc. Trying to make it across the intersection when traffic is moving slowly and blocking crosswalks and cross traffic. Opening the driver's side door with your opposite hand to look in the side view mirror or blind spot for cyclists.

We call it "dark" because we are sloppy.

The same side of the moon always faces the Earth. If the same side of the Earth always faced the moon, then only one hemisphere would be able to see the moon. Since you can see the moon from everywhere on Earth (not at the same time...), we know that the same side of the Earth does not always face the moon.

Unless you're thinking of the "outside" of the Earth. /s

"far-side of the moon"

There is no dark side.

A reading group is one approach. Regular reading of software development blogs, even older ones, will teach you a lot.

Expand your professional network by using local meetups or other professional events to find a mentor.

It would be nice if the link to the 2027 calendar included the weekday alignment.

Key phrase "captures some of the sentiment of Stoicism". Her book could be cut down to about ten pages.

If Books Could Kill reviewed her book in April 2025:

"Peter and Michael discuss The Let Them Theory, a self-help guide to seeking bliss through unmitigated complacency."

I, too, made this assumption. Then I learned it was an actual product my ex-employer had selected and kept using.

It still didn't make sense why an enhancement request and a fix request couldn't be moved between queues. Or why I received three (at least) emails when an issue was closed.

And that crane cable was much thicker! And it was two drones in a short period of time!

Yes but tradeoffs with delivery speed, and thin wires are still hard to detect with limits on vision processing.

it's an approximation of dangerous areas, catenary curves are more accurate than straight lines but you don't know the length of the cable so you don't know the droop height.

A cage around the drone, there are kids toys like this, and also commercial products for inspection. Prevents contact with other objects, contact can be sensed and reacted to. https://www.flyability.com/elios-3

Doesn't protect against everything, like Spanish Moss which dangles from trees, but that is a lot bigger than a long thin wire.
