Sorry if this sounds like a letter to Santa Claus Bryan, but when you do really well in this market, do you have any plans to build something this well rounded for small dev agencies, faculty-level education, etc?

I applaud all you tinkerers for pushing on the state of the home-brewed art here. Like crypto, AI is drowned out by hucksters, very few people talk about developing resilience. Or the researchers who will push on open source models in efforts to cram them onto an electric toothbrush or tamagotchi. Bravo to you all.

For anybody interested, the meat of 'EU sovereign' means EU companies, not US or UK companies with EU servers. (because of CLOUD Act and the UK-US bilateral arrangement connected to it).

International visitors might tell us more about benefits of non EU, US or UK nexus companies/legal/rights.

For another perspective, see Hunt, Gather, Parent by Michaeleen Doucleff. She looked at indigenous cultures alive today and makes the compelling argument that the Western boomers were the outlier - not their kids. 'Free range' meant having no meaningful responsibilities or expectations within the tribe, other than 'do what you like all day'.

Fair play x775, I'm currently moving lots of EU and UK projects away from US-owned and/or sited infrastructure. There is a huge marketing push from the EU cloud providers to display their sovereign wares. Maybe us Europeans need to make them more aware of how futile it is to move to EU companies if there are laws equal-to or more pernicious than the US CLOUD Act? A dozen large EU tech companies will sadly exert more pressure on EU lawmakers than trying to explain to 500 million normal people how a law that looks like it will protect children is a smokescreen and terrible for civil liberties.
