This is a pet peeve of mine, so when a headlight went out a few weeks ago I asked my mechanic about bulb options. He said he had no other choices for me, so now I am part of the problem too.

Seems like a classic Tragedy of the Commons situation / use case for regulation....

Highly recommended... I found it quite beautiful and moving, and it's the only film I've felt compelled to write a blog post[1] about. "Seeing the film (made just last year) transforms the memory of the Towers from one of trauma to something more like transcendence."

Edit: add year

> I basically want to build a custom e-reader with a RasPi Zero for learning/home use, 8-10inches would be great.

Though smaller than your target size, I did[1] something similar, and it was great fun. I believe there are still Waveshare hats with larger display sizes.

Enso looks really nice, as does Sit and your about pages.

I frequently don't follow the link unless the comments make me intrigued enough to do so. Partly because of the typically high signal/noise ratio for top comments here, and partly because of the ubiquity of paywalls, popups, horrible design and other JavaScript-heavy forms of user-hostility (or at least non-friendly or misguided) one finds in the average website.

The simplicity of presentation on Hacker News is one of its defining virtues.

One thing not discussed much here is time of day -- I have a few daily practices (exercise, meditation, painting) I do every single day, and I try to do them all before work. Occasionally something comes up and I have to do them in the evening, but my focus is usually diminished then.

Of the people featured in the Daily Habits [edit: Daily Rituals] book mentioned elsewhere in this thread, many described doing their most important work in the morning, though there were notable exceptions (night owls, no consistent pattern, etc.).

What works best for you?
