I can sit on reddit and hacker news all day. But linkedin? I couldn't care less about promotional posts. I've even tried to post some things and I have 20k people in my network and I get like 7 views.

i don't think free speech applies on managed internet apps. If people are promoting fake news, it should be deleted, if they don't like it they can create their own YouTube that doesn't censor fake news.
I don't. I worked at a mid-sized startup in SF a year ago and they required all that stuff. Luckily I was a contractor so it didn't apply to me. But man what a PITA as a developer to have to justify your job every month.
