Coding agents are brilliant for the 9-5 it’s just a job type of coder as if it done quick and works (for now) the business leaders are happy.
And brilliant for the expert in a particular language who can read the code very quickly
But for everyone else, adds some anxiety as multiple files get changed, hundreds of code lines appear and so on.
The decision is whether to go slower and be thorough or vibe code and trust it won’t back fire through a critical bug
Majority of devs are like all other employees, they get paid to work, are put under pressure to deliver faster and so coding agents allow them to clock out at 5pm and go home to follow their actual interests and hobbies
As said above, SQL is a set based language and one shouldn’t write a cursor to deal with individual rows unless no other way.
And if writing a server side cursor, probably better to write a stored procedure /function and put the cursor and its logic in it, and then call that rather than handle in application
Cloudflare bought Astro recently, and as it states in docs it previously had cache plugins for 2 companies but not Cloudflare so that may have been a motivation along with the Vite update mentioned

VC investing is also a tax write off for rich investors which is offset against their gains elsewhere, wasted company money is a loss for the share buyer.
So it may be popular but they have ultimately failed commercially so far. They just bought an Indian startup and immediately put the founder in charge of WhatsApp.
Only this week they announced WhatsApp would allow usernames rather than rely on phone numbers. All the other competitors apps (signal,telegram etc) did this years ago.
But all these new data centres are in USA for some reason.
