it did it in like 2 minutes while Apple had years doing the illegible Liquid Glass and took a year to fix it until this WWDC26. take it with humor guys.

You can’t even ask about what’s in HN right now. It will switch to 4.8.

I don't agree that he may enjoy it but I admire Tim even more for doing this, where Apple and the world needs him the most IMO.

you just need a max plan and a week at most

What you said doesn't make sense, what do you mean by "using claude code is the only way to be sure you won't get charged API pricing" ?? they can block your account or make the api more sensible for their harness to detect but the risk of being charged API is 0% when you are on a plan.

Has someone ever found a good solution for long / infinite lists / grids virtualization not breaking browsers native text search?

Maybe for this we need a new web "Search" API instead of JS. Not sure it can be done otherwise without browser's help.

just make the font-size smaller, and smaller, and smaller... until no more flickering.

Yeah, I've read that and find it a little sus. The article for me was fine even if not perfect.

It's the first time in my internet life (20y+) that I go find a wiki article to share to a friend because the US keeps weakening and I found it gone.

Didn't know it was that easy to remove a wikipedia article by just hinting it was AI generated.

I met a Tesla engineer on Reddit a few years ago. We got talking, he referred me to Tesla, and I ended up getting an offer for what was basically my dream role.

He was a complete stranger and incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful throughout the process. Still grateful for that. Small acts like that restore a bit of faith in humanity.

It also reminded me of a Steve Jobs quote:

“Most people never pick up the phone. Most people never ask. And that’s what separates, sometimes, the people who do things from the people who just dream about them. You have to act, and you have to be willing to fail. If you’re afraid of failing, you won’t get very far.” - SJ
