you'd need a tacit agreement that real humans who care tag and filter things for the search engine. like a webring or stumbleupon. I imagine it's easier to bolt this on to an existing product by adding "tags" and a "AI likelihood score" or something.

or we can bring back gopher and just not index slop sites?

one can load the pdf into inkscape and presumably get an .svg out that will load into cricut's nonsense. however it scales the svg, so i don't get the accuracy. i am 95% sure this is on the cricut "slicer" and not inkscape or the OP. Anyhow, it works well enough. i'm plotting a hex sheet right now.

I'm not sure. there's two doctors that i based my supplementation of D3+K2 on, but i cannot remember their names or link the videos. The assertion made was that blood serum 25OH Dwhatever of 100ng/ml (or dl, i always forget, but the one that makes sense) is enough to prevent most disease, like colds, flu, etc.

Another interesting thing vis a vis overdose/excess D3 is that for covid there was a hospital protocol for 50,000 IU given three times to "knock covid out"

I never read a study, sorry, so i can't link.

I started on this path because my wife got cancer and afterward was getting sick and always tired, d3 serum test was 28ng/ml so we brought her up to 100ng/ml and she hasn't been "sick" in 5 years. Additionally she no longer has to supplement calcium, which her oncologist said she'd have to do the rest of her life.

I buy "Micro Ingredients Vitamin D3 10,000 IU + K2 MK-7 200 mcg, 600 Softgels with Virgin Coconut Oil (2 Pack)" - B0D7B94P8D, and have for years. consistently good, and the blood tests prove it's real. Not affiliated.

I supplement a lot of stuff because my diet sucks and it's something i have been working on this year.

is there a way to export the .svg so i can load them into a plotter to make the graph paper? Since you've expended all the effort to ensure proper sizing and whatnot. It even looks like it has the same margins as my plotter!

offhand, if you're looking for heat stress because your funding was granted so you can find heat stress, you're probably going to find heat stress.

My issue is with models. there are models that disagree with the models that the ICCC is using, and models that disagree with both. Are we exiting a global mini ice age? are we about to enter another more severe ice age? the past 50-60 years has been tedious to try and track which way the climate is going.

but i'm sure this time we're all correct!

i disagree that it' warming, so where do you start with me? I'm not being coy, i 100% believe that all of the warming detected is strictly down to poor placement of sensors and incorrect assumptions thereof in the resultant data. So what we will end up arguing about, if we get past that particularity of my thoughts, is about models. And i hate arguing about models.

edit: i think probably the cities are getting "warmer" but that's not climate change that's city change. In that cities are growing, generally, with more stuff paved over. We need to plant more trees and have less concrete/asphalt in cities if we want to reverse this trend. also less people, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

in 2012 i owned a car that could run 100 octane fuel, and that was $9 a gallon. a few more octane and you get Jet-A minus the additives.

according to jetfueltracker jetA is about $2 more than 87 octane right now and about $1 more than 93 octane. and still somehow cheaper than diesel.

I'm not used to seeing jet fuel this cheap, luckily there's none near me to waste money on.

i think this isn't common knowledge; as it's only tied at one panel, and separate in the other (in the US); so there's two busses in the main breaker panel, one for white and one for green/bare. It's only the utility/ingress panel that has the neutral and ground bonded. It's a fluke of the way we deliver power in the US, split phase, maybe.

i thought half of lightning came from the ground, like half the potential. Slow mo lightning strikes have them meeting in the center in the air, rather than striking from cloud to ground. I could be wrong.

Lightning hit an antenna that was disconnected but near a radio and blew up the radio, the PC it was connected to, and then everything connected to the switch that was connected to the PC via cat5, and just for good measure, everything connected to an outlet on that side of the house within 15' of the computer outlet. once it gets in, it doesn't matter if stuff is off or on or whatever.

how do you see how many tabs you have open, an extension? i have tab session manager and it shows i have 80 tabs. about 60 of those are ephemeral, and the other 20 i'd have open on a new browser anyhow (email x3, goog cal, caldav cal, nextcloud files, router, local and remote proxmox, navidrome, the documentation server, etc) everything else is superfluous. although i'd probably be a bit sad if i lost all my tabs right now; hence tab session manager.

i can't figure out what some of the commentary here is borne from. "you're not working 100% of the time so it's ok if they ask you to work outside of normal hours" is sadistic.

that's fine if the business is paying overtime for those employees, i imagine if that bumps them above 32 hours (for health coverage requirements) or over 40 hours thus requiring overtime, and it happens enough, they'll hire a minimum wage security guard to keep customers from coming in at 2 'til.
