Not correct. Already in the very beginning Putin demonstrated his genocidal intent by declaring that Ukrainian nation does not exist.

Mussolini didn't set the goal to destroy Ethiopian nation(s).

Does it make Putin Hitler? I don't know, I see him more like some neo-Hitler/Stalin hybrid with touch of mysticism as flavor - he is a new thing.

If you want to get a more systematic argumentation then I'll refer you to prof. Timothy Snyder https://snyder.substack.com/p/the-war-in-ukraine-and-the-que...

I'll recommend author to reconsider this opinion.

I dont' know what the hell he means with this Eurocentric view. We know a lot about ancient civilizations in Mesopotamia, Egypt, we know about Göbekli Tepe that is from Neolithic period, we know also about many African and Asian civilizations.

We are also well aware about ancient settlements in America, especially in the Amazon area.

That a professor with an European name doesn't know much about this is his own personal problem but him peddling this false information and BBC going along with this creates a larger issue.

I am getting really bad vibes from this rant. It looks like some wannabee dictator who wants to define what is good/right and then force it upon others. It kind of correlates with the chosen name - Ansel Adams actively discriminated against photographers with different style than his to the level of not including important photographic works in his photography history book.
