That is people who play tennis being political. I play tennis a couple times a week and I have no idea the political views of those I play with

The only mag 7 that had a shooter chance with models is Google rn so doesn’t seem like there being good enough models will be that negative for mag 7. Might even be better since they are the providers for the inference

My exhaustion comes from how long winded LLMs are. I ask simple questions and get an essay with bullet points.

Unreal people don’t even read an ai summary of the case

I wouldn’t see it as just pure gambling. I’m not a dividend queen that really cares all That much about it. I do think we are sliding along the scale from shares having intrinsic value as an ownership stake in an income producing asset to collector cards that we track societies valuation of a company with. And at some point in the next 50 years shit will hit the fan. Unfortunately sitting it out isn’t really an option either

I mean that just begs the question how we got to this point. And how far detached is the public market from real value. Many shares don’t confer actual value. Hell a lot of these companies don’t pay dividends in addition to very little or no voting rights.

Release date seems like a terrible x axis with how much more compute they are using. Not to mention while I like what METR is trying to measure, it is an uber specific metric. And frankly, me just complaining, they’re prompts I feel do most of the work for the AI. I’ve never gotten as detailed instructions as they give the AI for the task

Also I’m not denying it would have a major impact either way. But c suite have basically demanded people use ai to code. It’s not all organic

Yeah I’m lost by the constant use of “exponential”. What is the x and y axis when the talking heads say this?

I think they were just pointing out the difference between that and iOS there

You’re probably right on crime. But I will say that both SF and Chicago(most of my experience) local train systems are constantly filled with homeless people with severe mental health issues. Generally , without fixing that a large segment of the population are never going to want to ride public transport.

What if I’m a farmer who wants to short whatever commodity I grow as a hedge.

I’m not saying you’re wrong. But man haves lots of people who don’t know what a war crime is really devalued the accusation. So much so I read yours and I just assume it isn’t.(again idk)

Yeah I don’t find this article particularly insightful. If we don’t have troops on the ground to prevent attacks in the straight, it would be always be vulnerable despite superiority. Shit if we don’t control the land, they could drop a bunch jet skis with bombs in the water in the middle of the night. The straight is only 21 miles wide at some points

So literally what I was implying

I mean you can read it in your app and they're not just stored on your phone. E2E just means in transport from what I understand.

I mean yeah it happens all the time but you need to start somewhere. But I worked in safety critical self driving firmware and rtl verification before that, so documentation was a necessity

I think AI literally makes even being wrong feel like getting something done. And that is the addictive part for people.
